About
A data professional who owns the whole layer, source to decision.
I started as project manager of the magnetic ID-card project for Sudan's civil registry, then managed systems and applications projects at Alpha Integrated Solutions, before moving into information systems at the Ministry of Human Resources Development and Labour, where I also trained state staff in the capacity-building directorate. I then led strategic reporting at the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT, owned the consumer data pipeline at the National Telecommunications Corporation, and led data and reporting on the National Water Company programme in Saudi Arabia.
On the other side, I build. I founded Smart Vision, an umbrella for digital products serving teams, training centres, restaurants and event organisers, and Arab Data Hub, a membership, training and mentoring platform for Arab data practitioners; before both, New Vision Training Center in Sudan. One method runs through both: if it has not been measured, it has not been shown to work.
